Members who wish to make a bequest to U3A Sunshine Coast are advised of the following format and wording to make that bequest:
I give devise and bequeath to U3A Sunshine Coast Inc. of Sippy Downs in the State of Queensland, Australia (“U3A Sunshine Coast), to be applied for such general purposes of U3A Sunshine Coast as the directors of the U3A Sunshine Coast see fit:
(a) the whole of my estate of whatsoever kind and wheresoever situated
(b) ……..% of my estate
(c) the sum of $…….
free of all duties and charges; and I declare that the receipt of the secretary, treasurer or other proper officer of U3A Sunshine Coast is full and sufficient discharge to my executors and trustees for payment of the bequest and that my executors and trustees shall not be obliged to see to the application thereof.

By the Wills Act, all Wills and Codicils must be in writing, signed by the Testator, and attested by two witnesses in the presence of the Testator and of each other.
