Vocalist needed for ‘Music Makers Band’

October 4, 2022eVoiceNews

‘Music Makers Band’ is looking for a vocalist to join the band and perform at various venues.

If you enjoy singing and would relish making music with a group of like-minded musicians, then the Music Makers Band could be the place for you.  All music is provided, though as vocalist, the ability to read music is not essential as long as you can sing by ear and hold a tune.

The Music Makers band meets weekly in Mooloolaba for the enjoyment of playing music. The program could include tunes of the 1930s to the present. Members have their own instruments. We do not teach music and therefore a certain level of musical competency is required to take part. Some band members may also entertain at aged care facilities across the coast; however, this attendance is on a voluntary basis.

Sessions are held at the Mooloolaba Uniting Church, 6 Meta Street, Mooloolaba on Tuesdays, 1:45 pm – 3:45 pm.

All types of instruments, whether they are woodwind, brass, strings, percussion or keyboard as well as vocalists are welcome to join.

If you are interested, please contact Colin Isaacs at coland@bigpond.net.au or phone on 0437 726 574.
