U3A Discussion Group Buderim social get together
Each year the Discussion Group Buderim follows up Open Day with a Welcome Afternoon Tea, for new and continuing Members.
This year, more than 20 people came along to the Alex Surf Club on Monday 21 February for what turned out to be a very lively gathering. This gives everyone a great way to start the year, for both longtime and new Members.
The Discussion Group Buderim is one of U3A Sunshine Coast’s long-running courses. The group is very welcoming for new Members.
Discussion focuses on topics and issues that Members nominate each week. No topic is overlooked.
This year the Tutor is John Peake, and Anne Lyons is the Co-Tutor.
There are still spaces available: Check out the course on this website, Discussion Group Buderim, 19DSG104, and either email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 0414907787 to register.
The first session for the year is on Monday 4 February, starting at 12:45pm at the Faith Community Church, 2-12 Glenmount Rd, Buderim. Each session ends at 2:45pm and there is a break for afternoon tea and informal chat.
